Introduction to Puelas

Puelas is a herd management system. It gathers the files the scale indicator produces on each chute day and uses them to build the history of every animal: weighings, pre-breeding, ultrasounds, palpations, treatments and consignments.

What Puelas does​

  • Imports the indicator's files (Tru-Test, Gallagher) with no spreadsheets in between. It recognizes the columns and learns the ones it doesn't know.
  • Builds each animal's timeline from its electronic tag, even when each piece of data comes from a different file.
  • Summarizes the herd on a single screen: pregnancy, weight gain, GDR, losses, culls and what we don't know yet.
  • Records treatments and tells you which animals can't be sold yet because of a withdrawal period.
  • Builds consignments for sale, together with the agency.
  • Prepares the electronic device declaration for SENASA and generates the file for SIGSA.
