Lots
A lot is a group in which part of the herd is managed. Each animal is in one lot at a time, or in none.
Lots is in the main bar. It lists active lots first, with the number of animals in each (or Empty). Tapping a lot opens the list of its animals.
Creating and editing
- Add creates a lot. The Name is required and can't be repeated within the organization.
- The ⋮ menu on each lot offers Edit and Retire.
A retired lot is no longer offered when moving animals or importing. The animals that were in it are not moved. Bring back makes it available again.
Lots are never deleted.
Other ways to create lots
- When importing, by typing a new name in the Lot field.
- When importing a file with the
LOTE ORIGENcolumn. - From a session, with Move to a lot → Add a lot.
Changing animals' lots
- Move to a lot in a session moves all of its animals to the chosen lot.
- The Lot field when confirming an import puts all the animals in the file into that lot.
