SENASA Declarations
Declarations prepare the declaration of electronic identification devices (electronic tags) to SENASA.
:::info Puelas doesn't connect to SENASA SIGSA doesn't offer an automatic way to connect. Puelas gathers the data, shows what is missing, and generates the file that you upload by hand in SIGSA, under Existencias → Dispositivos de Identificación → Nueva Declaración. It also keeps a record of what was generated. :::
Only admins of a producer organization see SENASA → Declarations.
Before you start
Each declaration corresponds to one RENSPA (SIGSA's Unidad Productiva). The RENSPA is entered as an establishment. You can also create it on the spot, from the declaration form.
:::caution Expired re-registration SIGSA rejects a declaration when the establishment's re-registration is more than a year old. Puelas warns you, but doesn't prevent it. :::
In this declaration SIGSA accepts only calves (male and female). Puelas doesn't filter by age: you choose which animals to include. The Born in a year option helps.
Starting a declaration
- In Declarations, tap Add.
- Choose the Establishment, or create one with Add one.
- Enter the date the devices were applied (Applied on).
- Tap Start.
Adding animals
The Add animals panel offers four ways:

To remove an animal, use ✕ (Remove from this declaration).
Complete what is missing
At the top you see how many animals are ready out of the total. An animal is ready when it has no problem that blocks the file.
Complete in bulk
Complete what is missing assigns Sex, Breed, birth Month or Year to all the animals in the declaration that don't have that data yet. It never changes data that is already recorded.
Complete one by one
Each animal with missing data shows N items missing and a form with only those fields.
The data is saved on the animal, not on the declaration: it stays on its record for good.

An animal without an establishment is not a problem: when the file is generated it is assigned to the declaration's establishment.
Generating the file
When all the animals are ready, Download the file appears. When you download it, Puelas:
- Saves a copy of each animal's data as it was declared.
- Assigns the declaration's establishment to the animals that didn't have one.
- Marks the declaration as File produced.
The file is then uploaded in SIGSA. Its format is described in SIGSA file.
Puelas can't see whether SIGSA accepted the file.
