Reproductive development (GDR)
The GDR is a score from 1 to 5 that the veterinarian assigns to each heifer by palpation, at pre-breeding, according to the development of her reproductive tract. It indicates whether she is ready to enter service.

How Puelas uses it
- The score arrives in the
GDRcolumn of the pre-breeding file. A score from 1 to 5 also records the Keep decision; the valueDESCARTErecords Cull. See Import format. - Home shows the distribution of scores from the most recent pre-breeding, with the recommendation for each, and how many heifers are not ready yet (scores 1 and 2).
- Each score opens the list of animals that received it.
:::note GDR is a recommendation The veterinarian scores, Puelas informs and the producer decides. A heifer with GDR 2 can still get pregnant; Puelas shows it in her timeline. :::
